Runen: Data Deletion Instructions & Policy

At Runen: Built For Every Day, we believe you should have total control over your data. Because our app is designed with a "Local-First" architecture, we do not have access to your personal fitness history, but we provide clear pathways for you to manage and delete any data associated with your use of our services.

1. Local Data Deletion (User Controlled)

All of your step counts, hydration logs, and fitness goals are stored locally on your device.

  • How to delete: You can delete this data at any time by clearing the app cache/data in your Android Settings or by uninstalling the app.

  • Effect: Once uninstalled, the Android operating system permanently removes all local files associated with Runen. This action is instantaneous and irreversible.

2. Analytics & Crash Data Deletion

As disclosed in our Privacy Policy, we may use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to monitor app stability. While this data is anonymized and does not identify you personally, you have the right to request its removal.

  • Request Method: Send an email to thereliancestudio@gmail.com

  • Subject Line: Data Deletion Request - [Your Unique Installation ID if available]

  • Information Required: Since we do not collect names or emails, please provide your device model and the approximate date of app installation to help us locate anonymized logs.

3. Processing Timeline

Upon receiving a valid deletion request via email, we will:

  1. Acknowledge your request within 24 hours.

  2. Initiate the deletion of associated anonymized logs from our analytics dashboard.

  3. Provide confirmation once the process is complete (typically within 24 to 48 Business hours).
